Integrate Your Purchase Card Provider with Confirmation
Accounting firms can set up a payment card to have Level II and Level III card data transmitted to their purchase card issuer. This provides additional details on billing statements for the purpose of reconciling transactions with Confirmation to their auditing engagements.
Additional data featured on statements include:
- Engagement number
- Purchase receipt number
- Amount
- Auditor’s office postal/zip code
- Bank department postal/zip code
- Auditor name
- Auditor email address
- Auditor office name
- Client company name
Including auditor information and client engagement numbers directly on the purchase card statement allows for easy allocation of cost, and in-depth billing summaries.
To enable the transfer of Level II or Level III data to a card issuer, a payment card must be configured for the accounting firm. Payment cards can be configured for an office, a country, or an entire accounting firm.
Contact your card issuer to see if Level II or Level III data can be can be added to your statements and request it to be enabled.
*For VISA® and MasterCard® payment cards, Level II or Level III data may or may not be available based on the bank that issues the card. The accounting firm will have to confirm compatibility with their card issuer.
** For American Express® payment cards, only Level II data may be available and that is based on the bank that issues the card. The accounting firm will have to confirm compatibility with their card issuer.
*** The billing currency for the transaction must be USD.
